Braehead Clan are delighted to confirm the signing of Canadian forward Jesse Schultz. The 6’0, 200lbs right winger from Strasbourg, has played in the CHL, DEL and Italy (Serie A) as well as playing for NHL side the Vancouver Canucks.
The CHL 2012 All-Star Schultz has also spent considerable time in the American Hockey League, playing 375 games and collecting 252 points along the way.
Schultz spent last season with Rapid City Rush in the CHL, with 64pts from 49 games (24 goals, 40 assists).
Schultz will join the Clan as soon as his Visa has been granted and paperwork sorted.
Clan Player/Coach Jordan Krestanovich had the following to say on the signing news:
"I am really happy that Jesse will be joining our team. He has a great resume and I know he will do well on our team."
Jesse added:
“I am looking forward to joining the Clan. I have heard nothing but good things about the organization and the fans, and I am looking forward to meeting the guys and getting going with the rest of the season."
