Braehead Clan can confirm that they have signed 6’1 former NHL star Ladislav Benysek. The experienced D-man arrives in Glasgow early next week and will make his Clan debut next Friday 22nd February at home to the Coventry Blaze
With the arrival of Ladislav, next week the Clan will finally be up to the maximum 11 imports and with the impending return of Ryan Watt later this month, we look forward to hopefully having a full strength Clan team for the very first time this season as we seek to achieve our goal of being the first Scottish team to reach either the Challenge Cup Final and/or the Play Off Finals Weekend.
Clan Coach Paul Gardner said “We are delighted to have a player of Ladislav’s experience and calibre join the Clan and I look forward to working with him from now until the end of the season. Having that 4th import D-man on the roster will really help the current D-men out.”
