Bathtub Racers:

- The team who completes the fastest lap shall be declared the winner and progress to the next round (lap will be anti-clockwise. Winners of a coin toss can decide to go 2nd/1st).

- Pusher, passenger, bathtub, and stick must all fully cross the red line to complete the lap.

- Pushers should do so with their arms at full extension. This is the safest way to propel the bathtub. Any deviation of this technique is at the competitor own risk.

- Competitors must swap pusher and passenger halfway around the lap.

- The bathtub must be touching the red halfway line while the pusher/passenger change over happens. The passenger must be sat down (bottom to the rear, feet at the front) holding the hockey stick before the tub leaves contact with the red halfway line - 10 sec penalty if this is not completed.

- 1 second will be added to the time for touching cones with tub/stick or any part of the body.

- At the beginning of the race, the bathtub must be completely behind the red center line.

- The referee’s signal will start the race.

- The passenger should not intentionally leave the bathtub unless attempting the halfway changeover (10 sec penalty). Should the competitor accidentally fall out of the bathtub, no time penalty will occur and the competitor should climb back into the bathtub and continue (if able).

- Disqualification may occur at the referee’s discretion for intentional or unintentional "cheating" or unsportsmanlike behavior.

- In the case of a draw after 3 mins the team who won the initial coin toss shall be declared the winner.

- In the case of a broken bathtub, the team who won the initial coin toss shall be declared the winner.

- Safety equipment must be worn on the ice at all times.
